Onion chili Dosa!!!Easy Dosa!!




Raw rice-11/2 cup
coconut grated-1 cup
cooked rice-1/4 cup
onion-1
green chili-3-4
cumin seeds-1 tsp
cilantro chopped-2 tsp
Soak the raw rice overnight.
Morning grind this with coconut and cooked rice(you can take and keep in refrigerator cooked rice).
Once its done add onion and green chili to this.
Grind till onion become chopped form.Green chili will be well ground by this time.
Add cumin and chopped cilantro to this batter and add salt.
Take the pan and make it like our normal dosa.

No fermentation required.

Nadan fish curry






Fish-7 pieces
Ginger-1 medium piece
Garlic-5 cloves
Small onion-13(for grinding and seasoning)
Green chili-2
Coriander powder-1 tsp
Red chilly powder-2 tsp
Turmeric-1 tsp
Fenugreek powder-1/2 tsp
Coconut grated-1 cup
Coccum-1 big piece
Mustard
Curry leaves
Fenugreek seeds
Oil
Salt

Cut and clean the fish pieces.keep it aside.
Grind ginger,garlic,green chili,shallot to a coarse paste.
Grind coconut and keep it aside.
Take a pan.add oil to it.When it turns hot add ground paste(shallots,ginger,garlic,green chili).
When the raw smell goes add coriander,red chili,turmeric powders,saute for a minute.
Then add ground coconut and coccum.Saute for sometime.
Then add fish pieces and salt.
Add fenugreek powder also to this gravy.close and cook till its done.
Finally season it with shallots(cut),mustard,curry leaves and fenugreek seeds).



  • I used Tilapia(you can use any fleshy fish)
  • Coccum will be good for fish curries.It gives the real sour taste for the curry.I always prefer coccum for fish curries.
  • I used coconut oil.You can use any oil.
